I’ve been meaning to do this for a while now: reboot the Wisdom Experience Podcast, which I used to host with Naomi Martell-Bundock. The project came to a natural end after a couple of seasons. I really loved the concept of exploring everyday wisdom, so I’ve been looking for an opportunity to reboot this podcast.
Stumbling back into Socrates, Rousseau, Thoreau, and William James has reminded me that philosophy belongs with the people, not in the clouds or dusty lecture halls. So with that in mind, I decided to reboot the Wisdom Experience podcast as a solo project. I’ve even refreshed the metaphorical paint and given the site a new look and feel.
And more importantly, a new purpose:
Welcome to The Wisdom Experience Podcast, a sanctuary for seekers of wisdom and insightful conversations. In this conversational-style podcast, join Clay Lowe aka Soulcruzer as he meets with an eclectic mix of individuals, from every walk of life.
The core belief? Everyone, irrespective of their background or journey, has at least one golden nugget of wisdom to share. These candid conversations aim not just to uncover these unique insights but also to enrich the minds of listeners and foster an environment of mutual growth.
In a world bursting with noise, this podcast aspires to stand out as a beacon of light, championing the power of conversation to change lives and make the world a better place.
So tune in, share your own pearls of wisdom, and become a part of this expansive conversation. Because, as the saying goes, the more we share, the more we have.
What I’m really excited about is having interesting and philosophical conversations with people from all walks of life. I’ll definitely be reaching out to some of you with whom I can sit down (or walk) and have a conversation. Ideally, I’d like to have these conversations in person in a more natural setting outside of the studio environment (we recorded episode 21 out in the rain!). But I know I won’t be able to escape Zoom, especially for folks who are geographically dispersed from me.
Lastly, before we get to this week’s episode, if you feel like chewing the fat with me and setting the world to rights or sharing your nugget of wisdom that might make a difference to someone, then join me as a guest on the Wisdom Experience Podcast. Just reply to this email or leave a comment. Or if you know someone who you think might be a good guest, then put us in touch.
OK, let’s meet Zoe, queen of the Mischief Makers!
OK, good people, go off and do great things! Or hug a tree. Or sit still in your garden and watch the leaves on the trees sway in the breeze.
Oh, one more thing: I stumbled upon the perfect phrase to describe me. I love this one.
Peace and Wisdom,
Clay
