Raising the Bar
all of our exploring leads us back to where we began
Welcome back to the Coach’s Notes! I’ve been thinking about excellence this week, and it has led me back to these notes. While the Coach’s Notes newsletter has been on hiatus, the Coach’s Notes podcast has not.
My friend Daniel jokingly nicknamed me “the Dabbler” because, well, I like to dabble in a lot of things. If it’s new and shiny, I’m there. AI, VR, XR, DJ, you name it; if it’s new, I feel compelled to figure out how it works. And once I do, that’s it; I’m off to figure out how the next new thing works.
Figuring out how complex things work is my superpower. The trouble with that is that it leaves a pile of discarded tech and apps, not to mention the many websites and podcasts that spring up around my dabbling!
In my past tribal life, I’m sure I must have been a pathfinder—the person in the tribe who goes out looking for new food and water sources, maps out the territory, and then comes back to the tribe to share his findings before inevitably getting cold feet and heading back out into the unknown again—that’s me!
It appears I haven’t been able to shake my past-life vibe. Only today, I’m out finding new tech and new apps to share.
But now I feel like it’s time to work on my personal legacy and build something. All of you who know me personally know that I love this space: personal development, self-improvement, philosophy, history, and technology. I love how it all fits together and impacts our minds and mindsets, our consciousness and spirit, our physical selves, and our concept of who we are and our place in the world.
Which brings me to the reason I am here writing to you now.
I want to create a more cohesive platform, so I am linking the podcast and the newsletter together and merging them with a new digital coaching program I’m launching soon. The program is app-driven and has micro-courses, trackers, accountability, and individual interaction through the app.
The program is probably most suitable for introverts, reflectors, thinkers, or busy people who are comfortable with asynchronous learning, self-development, and coaching. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, hit reply to this email, and I’ll send you further details.
That’s all I have to say for now folks.
I’ll leave you with the latest episode of the Coach’s Notes podcast.
Last, last thing, the Notes will be published when they’re published. In other words, I’m not doing the herd thing and saying this will be a weekly publication or a three-times-a-week publication. I’ll publish them as the spirit moves me, so the best thing to do is subscribe to the newsletter if you’re not already subscribed, and also subscribe to the podcast (again, if you’re not already a subscriber).
Excellence and Wisdom,
Clay
