Hey there,
I hope you had a fantastic break over the Easter weekend. I did. I spent four days in Bristol hanging with the in-laws.
My main objective for the weekend was to chill out and let my mind unwind from the grind (sorry, I couldn't resist that). Between family meals, I spent most of my time flipping between selected journal entries of Kierkegaard and Mark Amerika's, My Life as an Artificial Creative Intelligence.
Kierkegaard kept pushing me further inward towards the depths of my soul, while Mark Amerika kept luring me into a future where human intelligence merges with artificial intelligence. Between the two books, I managed to maintain my balance. Stay connected to your core; that's what I concluded from my journeys inward this weekend. That, and I've had my fill of being still (oops, I did it again!).
But enough about me—are you ready for the BIG question that's going to split your soul open and let you take a peek at who you are? Or at least, what's made you who you are today?
Your life experiences, upbringing, education, and relationships all have a big impact on who you are, what you believe, and what you value. But sometimes there's that one moment, that one experience, that flips your world upside down and changes the course of your entire life.
For some people, it could be getting over a big problem, like a serious illness or a personal tragedy. For others, it could be a positive experience, such as meeting a mentor who inspires them to pursue their passions or discovering a new talent that changes the direction of their life.
Ultimately, who you are today is a complex interplay of various factors, and it's the sum of your experiences that contribute to shaping your identity.
For today's self-reflection question, I invite you to consider this:
"What is the one thing that has happened to you that has made you who you are today?"
I'm sure there are a multitude of things that have happened to you, but choose the one moment that shook your core, altered your reality, and changed you forever.
And once you've cracked that cosmic egg, think about how you can use what you've discovered to shape the direction of your future.
Alright, my friend, happy journeying.
